Dr Itayi Mutsonziwa is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Sigma Kairos. She is an innovative and results driven professional with extensive leadership, client and stakeholder relationship management, data analytics, project management, qualitative and quantitative research experience. She successfully directs and implements the organisation's research and data analytics, and oversees initiatives to maintain competitive positioning and profitability. She is an exceptional leader with a demonstrated record of accomplishments, creating functional strategies and specific objectives for multiple business units.
Her experience has found her collaborating with Boards, Executive Committees, management, research and development teams in recommending effective solutions based on research findings and data analytics. She has also helped many businesses develop and implement strategies to improve market performance through research and data analytics. With over fifteen years of experience in market and social research, Dr Itayi’s expertise include overseeing market research projects, project management and data analytics. She has implemented extensive research not only in South Africa, but has also been involved in numerous disciplines on the African continent. She has led many large projects which are of significant importance to a number of clients, both locally and internationally. Her exceptional skills in data information production and time series analysis allows her to offer guidance to clients on the performance of their key strategies and brands, through research and data analytics.
Dr Itayi has for many years been involved with supporting clients in making key decisions using cost effective research and data analytics tools, with some of the industries she has worked with including Academic Research, Automotive Research, Aviation, Financial Services Providers (FSPs), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs), Fuel and Petroleum, Government and its entities, Logistics Research, Media Research, NGOs/NPOs and Telecommunications. Dr Itayi was a Research Director at a leading market research firm in Johannesburg before starting Sigma Kairos.
