Face to face quantitative surveys (CAPI)
Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) is a face-to-face data collection method in which the interviewer uses a tablet, mobile phone or a computer to record answers given during the interviewing process. Our face-to-face surveys are done exclusively using CAPI due to its advantages as compared to paper based approach.
Computer Assisted Telephonic Interviews (CATI)
Computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) approach is a telephone surveying technique in which the interviewers follow a scripted questionnaire provided by a software application and record the responses on computer. The scripted questionnaire has in-built quality control processes and recording capabilities.
Online surveys
Online surveys are targeted surveys that collect data through completion of the questionnaire on an online platform. Targeted respondents receive an online questionnaire via various mediums such as email, embedded over website, social media among others and the survey should be properly designed so that it doesn’t end up being forwarded to respondents in the sampling frame. The survey has to be customised to the targeted respondents and all the quality control checks built in while designing it.
SMS research
Mobile SMS research is a simple way of data collection using text messages. Respondents receive a text message on the mobile phone and provide answers by selecting specific options. It is mainly useful for collecting quick headline indicators and is cost effective and quick to implement. The questionnaire is short and straight forward as there are no in-person interviewers to explain and interpret anything to the respondents.
